Don't think of him as gone away his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched... for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
As the time passes and we grow older, we are forced to see your loved ones to pass away. Some will die due the age, other for saving someone, some die because sickness. Yet, we shouldn't be sad. We should know they did live their life how they wanted and hopefully with no regret. We should be happy for them because they don't have to suffer anymore. We should be grateful for them for teaching us the right way as well learn from their mistakes.
I thank my father's father (grandpa) for teaching my how to ride a horse, even though they weren't breed for riding. I'm grateful and happy that you loved me even if we weren't so close. I'm thankful at all the things you did for me, be it much or little I don't know, I'm forever thankful.
